FACE B regularly accompanies people in the creative sector through individual or collective trainings: students, entrepreneurs, private institutions, enthusiastic individuals, etc. By mixing theoretical concepts with field experience, we want to share practical tools which can help you realise your ambitions by exchanging practices and studying real cases.

How to turn your idea into a project?

This training aims to create the BMC (Business Model Canvas) of your project in order to better define your priorities, your needs, the steps to take, and the areas for progress. We will then provide all the necessary information concerning the legal form your project may take (self-employed natural person, NGO, SRL…) as well as the legal obligations that go with it (legal status, accounting, etc).

Which financial strategy to adopt for your project?

This training aims to help you determine the financial strategy that suits your project. Given it will rely on state funding in the creative sector, an overview of public institutions and competent subsidiary authorities according to each project will be covered. We will also present alternative sources of funding you should explore. The training is based on good and bad practices in economic modelling of projects and on drafting your funding applications.

How to insure a good management of your project?

This training aims to pass on a wide range of work optimisation tools in order to better organise your tasks and those of your teams. We thus give an overview of online softwares or simply good practices to better manage the internal communication of a company and the setting up, the distibution and the prioritising of tasks.

Reviews

“The two speakers had very atypical backgrounds, I really appreciated their approach and the way they landed in a great space. They are very socially committed. They did a lot of things in a very short time, so sometimes I was lost in everything they did, but I was very interested to see concretely the different projects they had mentioned outside of FACE B, so I went to find out more about the Festival Des Blocs which I didn’t know before and I was pleasantly surprised.”

“This seminar allowed us to project ourselves and learn about the possibilities to combine art/culture/social innovation design as well as learning more about participatory projects.”

“I found it very interesting. The trainer is passionate and communicative, which makes the subject of financing a project almost child’s play. The workshop demystifies this part of the process, which can seem complicated for novices. The fact that you can have a conversation and explain a personal project is also a plus.”

“Comprehensive presentation, very well illustrated with examples and exceptions. Is not stingy with explanations, very motivating and smiling.”

“She has quite a background in the field and you can feel it right away”.
