FACE B regularly supports actors in the creative sector through individual or collective training: students, entrepreneurs, private institutions, passionate individuals, etc. By blending theoretical concepts with field experiences, we aim to share practical tools that can help you achieve your ambitions through the exchange of practices and the study of real-life cases.

How to turn your idea into a project?

This training aims to collectively create the BMC (Business Model Canvas) of your project in order to better define your priorities, what you need, the steps to take, and areas for improvement. It will then provide a series of details on the legal structure your project can take (sole proprietorship, non-profit organization, LLC, etc.) as well as the legal obligations that come with it (statutes, accounting, etc.).

Which financial strategy to adopt for your project?

This training helps establish the financial strategy for your project, which often requires grants and subsidies in the creative sector. An overview of public institutions and relevant funding bodies for each project will be provided, along with alternative funding sources. Drawing from hands-on experience in this field, the training focuses on sharing best practices in the economic modeling of your project and writing funding applications.

How to ensure proper coordination of your project?

This training aims to provide a set of tools for work optimization in order to better organize tasks, both for yourself and for your teams. We will explore online software tools or simply best practices to improve internal communication within your company, as well as task creation, distribution, and prioritization.

Reviews

“The two speakers had very atypical backgrounds, I really appreciated their approach and the way they landed in a great space. They are very socially committed. They did a lot of things in a very short time, so sometimes I was lost in everything they did, but I was very interested to see concretely the different projects they had mentioned outside of FACE B, so I went to find out more about the Festival Des Blocs which I didn’t know before and I was pleasantly surprised.”

“This seminar allowed us to project ourselves and learn about the possibilities to combine art/culture/social innovation design as well as learning more about participatory projects.”

“I found it very interesting. The trainer is passionate and communicative, which makes the subject of financing a project almost child’s play. The workshop demystifies this part of the process, which can seem complicated for novices. The fact that you can have a conversation and explain a personal project is also a plus.”

“Comprehensive presentation, very well illustrated with examples and exceptions. Is not stingy with explanations, very motivating and smiling.”

“She has quite a background in the field and you can feel it right away”.
