FACE B is a non-profit organisation that realises projects around art, urbanism and cultural mediation. From realising our own projects to supporting other cultural institutions, we are looking for a communication and project management intern for a minimum period of 3 months.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the development of our activities in 2024, we are looking for an intern-e with a passion for culture, communication, human contact, the organisation of various cultural events and the overall development of a project at all stages, from design to implementation. The intern will help us manage cultural projects in collaboration with various cultural institutions.
Missions will include the following:
1/ Project management:
- Creation and preparation of files.
- Preparation of applications for grants and partners with institutions supporting cultural initiatives.
- Assistance in project production and coordination.
- Assistance in setting up cultural mediation activities.
- Assistance in the coordination of an event, teams, administrative and logistical tasks.
2/ Communication:
- Participating in the development of social media strategy (Instagram and Facebook).
- Proposing innovative formats adapted to new applications.
- Creating an editorial calendar around the highlights of the year.
- Designing content for social media (using Figma, Indesign, Photoshop, Canva, etc.).
- Animating social media content.
- Updating the website.
- Translations FR/NL and EN/NL.
PROFILE
- You speak Dutch AND at least English or French (preferably all three).
- You study communication, cultural management, cultural mediation, management, law, or have relevant experience in this field.
- You are creative, proactive, flexible, independent and organised.
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- You are proficient in Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- You can use Adobe tools (Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) on the go.
- You are comfortable with daily use of Google Drive.
- You have a passion for participatory cultural practices.
